Greetings to all friends of BNME! We are coming back to you with the very exciting Fall season programs starting October! 1. BNME Series at UCCA
Having great success in the past March and June concerts at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA), 798 Arts District, in October BNME continues to present with UCCA to you the following concerts:

2. BNME at Peng Hao Theater
BNME is coming back for our Peng Hao concert series. In the fall we present you a different flavor of chamber music, mixing with contemporary dancers inspired by UK composer Julian Grant’s music, a taste of Korean music of tradition and presence with multi-media projection as well as the renowned New York improvisational pipa player Min Xiaofen’s contemporary Jazzy voice and pipa works. As a platform for cross-over music collaborations, BNME dedicates to our BNME friends he upcoming concerts:
-Oct. 16th Music for Dance - works by UK composer Julian Grant -Nov. 8th Korea Music Landscape Series II -Dec. 18th Encounters: Blue Pipa meets Electro-acoustic Music

3. BNME Music Salon education concerts
at NCPA (National Center for Performing arts)
BNME is very pleased to announce our education concert series at the Music Salon project at National Center for Performing Arts, Beijing. The concert will be hosted in the multi-media library on the 4F of NCPA. The ticket could be purchased at NCPA at 30 RMB. If you are a NCPA member with access to the library and membership concerts, we also welcome you to our concerts. In every concert we have the musicians speaking about their interpretation on music and introducing the stories and history of each piece bilingually. We hope this will bring our BNME friends a wonderful opportunity to enjoy chamber education concerts at the center of Beijing.
October 17th (Sat.) 14:30-15:30 Voice from Heaven—Introduction to Opera Arias
Special guest soprano: Esther Heideman(The Metropolitan Opera from New York City), pianist: Michelle Yip, narrator: Gao Can, concertmaster EOS, violin teacher at Central Conservatory of Music
Angelic is the word that has most often been used to describe the silvery, pure, sweet tone of Esther Heideman's vocal artistry. In this concert, lyric soprano Esther Heideman will be featured with Beijing New Music Ensemble’s pianist Michelle Yip in presenting arias from famous operatic scenes as well as several vocal chamber music pieces.
